Connect Stream Deck in 30 Seconds

  1. Open the Elgato Stream Deck app on your Mac.
  2. In the right sidebar under System, drag the Website action onto any Stream Deck button (or rotary dial on Stream Deck +).
  3. Give the button a title (e.g. Play / Pause) and paste any mootch:// command from the table below into the URL field.
  4. Leave “Access in background (GET)” unchecked — macOS routes mootch:// links straight to Mootch in the background without opening a browser or stealing focus from Zoom/OBS!

Stream Deck + Rotary Dials: Use a dial stack or hotkey action mapped to mootch://speed-up and mootch://speed-down to adjust scroll pace on the fly.

  4. Control playback, scrub lines, flash Director Talkback alerts, or tap Wireless Mic to use your iPhone as a 16 kHz lapel mic from across the room.
